Lindsay Turkel
Omaze
Lindsay Turkel is twenty-nine years old and was born and raised in New York City. Starting from a young age, she trained in ballet at the School of American Ballet at Lincoln Center, and at eighteen years old, she joined the Carolina Ballet, a professional company based in Raleigh, North Carolina. She performed in hundreds of roles in both classical and contemporary works for four years before choosing to pursue a different path and accepted an internship in Public Relations at Kiehl's Since 1851 (LUXE Division of L'Oreal) in New York City. In 2016, she was offered a full-time position as Integrated Communications Coordinator, where she secured product placements in long lead women's publications and national broadcast, managed the introduction of influencers to the brand, and owned logistics for large scale brand events. In 2018, Lindsay relocated to Los Angeles, and joined FabFitFun as Events Manager, where she ran all aspects of influencer and press events as well as the go-to-market strategy. In 2020, she transitioned to Manager, Influencer Marketing Strategy at FabFitFun where she was responsible for the full year approach to talent as well as the partnership with the paid acquisition team on sourced content, all while driving execution across over 1,500 creators. A little under a year later, she was promoted to Senior Manager, Influencer Marketing, where she served as the head of the department and led the team through the transition from performance to brand marketing. In February 2022, Lindsay was offered the position of Director, Influencer Marketing at Omaze, where she oversaw the organic strategy and budget for the channel as well as all cross-functional impact.
